La Balma Refuge – Prato Nevoso (Mondovì) – Province of Cuneo – Piedmont – Italy

I have been many times to the La Balma refuge, a very welcoming place, where you can relax and play sports, there are several footpaths for tracking, but not only with the bike, if you do not have a bike you can rent a climber for those who loves to ride a bike.

Here you can have a snack or lunch with polenta with wild boar, sausage, leeks, roe deer … .. whatever you want …

You can book for lunch or book for the night, they rent rooms for the night …

It is a wonderful place nestled in the mountains, in winter there are ski slopes, Prato Nevoso is very famous for skiing of all kinds, for the table, for children, for the little ones, all immersed in a beautiful landscape …

I often go here with friends to have a relaxing day, totally immersed in nature….

Ahhh I forgot, here you can buy the Piedmontese millet cheese Raschera directly from the farmers, the Margari … but also goat and sheep cheese …

Breeding of oxen, cows, goat and sheep breeding …

You can also arrive by car, on foot, by bike, by cable car …

Rifugio La Balma – Località Prato Nevoso ( Mondovì ) – Provincia di Cuneo – Piemonte -Italia

Sono Stato molte volte al rifugio La Balma, un posto molto accogliente, dove potete rilassarvi e fare sport, ci sono diversi percorsi a piede per fare tracking, ma non solo anche con la bici, se non avete la bici potete affittare un arrampichino per chi ama andare in bici.

Qui potete fare uno spuntino o fare pranzo con polenta al cinghiale, alla salsiccia, ai porri, al capriolo…..quello che volete…

Potete prenotare per il pranzo o prenotare per la notte, affittano camere per la notte…

E’ un posto immerso tra le montagne, meraviglioso, d’inverno ci sono le piste da sci, Prato Nevoso è molto famoso per lo sci di ogni tipo, per la tavola, per i ragazzi, per i più piccini, tutto immerso in un paesaggio stupendo…

Vi posto qui alcune foto di questo meraviglioso paesaggio d’estate, ma anche d’inverso…

Vado spesso qui con gli amici per fare una giornata di relax, totalmente immerso nella natura….

Ahhh dimenticavo, qui potete comprare il miglio formaggio piemontese il Raschera direttamente dai contadini, i Margari….ma anche il formaggio di capra e pecora…

Allevamento di buoi, mucche, allevamento di capre e pecore…

Inoltre potete arrivare in auto, a piedi, in bici, in funivia…
